A single-day, trail-based endurance walk where you choose the distance (7–28 miles) and must finish in 10 hours.

UltraTrax is an all-levels event designed for anyone seeking a challenge. Walkers, runners, nature lovers—if you can cover one mile today, we’ll get you to the finish line by event day.
It is a professionally timed event, but the focus is on pushing your individual fitness and endurance goals. Cross the line in under 10 hours and earn the Grey Wolf patch or medal—register now.

For any distance, you can trek unweighted or add a 20-lb or 35-lb vest/ruck to unlock bonus swag.
*Weighted vests/ rucksacks must be weighed by UltraTrax the morning of the event to qualify for official entry.

HOW DO I START?
It’s very easy. Just grab a weighted vest or add weight to a backpack and start walking. While you can purchase weighted plates designed specifically for rucking, we also recommend using bags of sand, rice, books or even wood pellets as an affordable alternative. Weighted vests can be purchased online and are also a great option!

TRAINING GUIDELINES
UltraTrax is a walking event, making it accessible to most people who want to take on a fitness challenge. You don’t need to be a seasoned athlete to participate—most of your training can come from simply adding a few more miles or Zone 2 cardio into your daily routine. For those in search of a training program, recommended schedules are:

At UltraTrax, we believe food is medicine, which is why we provide only the highest quality food and drinks made with super clean ingredients and no artificial preservatives.
Aid stations will be located every 2.5 miles along the course. Each will provide a mix of water, electrolyte and snack options.
